3. if your where to think about the type of sleep you wanted or think about why you want to stop snoring and the benefits it would have for you, what would you say to me? whether its to help you sleep or help your spouse sleep how would you answer that question!<br />

<h3>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">How to stop snoring</span></h3>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">If your looking to <b>stop snoring now</b> whether it is for the sake of your partners sanity or for yours, you have come to the right place. I'm going to show you tips that have helped me stop snoring and also show you some remedies for snoring in the next part to this 3 part series (might go to 4, we will see how spacing works etc...plus I don't want to bore you!)</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">1. <b>Have you considered changing your sleep position? </b>sometimes a full length body pillow is just what you need because it will support your entire body not only making you feel more comfortable but " it enables you to maintain sleeping on your side and can make a dramatic difference" Another way to stop yourself from lying on your back takes me back to medieval times but it works for some people and that's tapping tennis balls to the back of your pajamas...sounds crazy but of course this is something that we don't actually want to do...because it will cause back pain!...</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">2<b>.Avoid alcohol because is reduces the resting tone of the muscles</b> in the back of your throat, making it more likely that you will snore. drinking 4 to 5 hours before sleeping makes snoring much worse...I'm sure your partner agrees with you. People who don't normally snore will snore when they drink.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">3. <b>open your nasal passages,</b> and the reason we say that is, "imagine a narrow garden hose with water running through it. the narrower the hose, the faster the water rushed through. Keeping nasal passages free and clear can help and maybe its a simple nasal strip that does the trick! In the next page I will refer you to the best links for the easiest on the wallet and most effective remedies you can try to save your partners sanity or to save your partner from snoring!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">4. <b>if your not into body pillows than maybe a nice brand new pillow </b>for support will be just what you prefer, and not only that it will help...a pillow that offers great support that can keep your head straight and your neck/throat and body aligned will help limit or stop snoring because everything will be nice and open just like the importance of keeping you nasal area open and clear!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "arial";">5. <b>Snore Strap is one of the best methods </b>once you have your nasal area open and clear as it helps you breath through your nose and actually trains you to continue breathing through your nose. they are an awsome little system that can assist the most aggressive snorlax!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "arial";">6. <b>read my other posts about sleep creativity! </b>Another great addition to stop snoring is sleep hygiene and creating an environment that your very comfortable in and that you feel relaxed in. Did you know that snoring can be caused by stress and it can also be cause by weight, taking the extra 5 minute walk after supper or walking the dog a bit further, and even the usual stroll after checking the mail are some great ways to get some extra exercise in or even some new exercise methods!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><i>Small extra tip-sometimes when your pillow is a good firm one it could just be dust mites and putting them in the dryer for a quick air fluff will be all they need...something to try if you just bought new FIRM pillows"</i></span><br />
<br />

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"></span><br /></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"></span><br /></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Our sleep is precious time that allows our body to heal and rejuvenate, and without enough sleep, our health suffers a lot!...and we don't need that or want it right..<b>.That means we must find ways to get proper rest. Unfortunately, many people either cant sleep or don't get enough sleep, which is where 100% natural sleep aids come in to play!</b></span></div>
<div>
<b><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"></span><br /></b></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">the amount of sleep needed each night varies, but for adults getting at least seven hours every night is absolutely crucial to having a healthy mind and body, and when we don't get enough sleep, our bodies aren't the only things that suffer. The centers for Disease Control and prevention reports that a <b>whopping 49.2 million people have trouble with focus due to lack of sleep, and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administrations in USA and Canada reported that millions of people nod off while driving!...has this ever happened to you?</b></span></div>
<div>
<b><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"></span><br /></b></div>
<div>
<i><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">"Quick story, this actually happened to me a few years ago when I was having trouble with sleep and another cherry on top of the cake was that I worked over night and then had a 1 hour commute home, I had a brand new jeep at the time and when i was about halfway home I was in the fast lane and ended up nodding off. I ended up hitting the guard rail and wrecking the one fender flare on the side of the jeep, luckily I was okay and everyone else was okay and there was no accident with other people and I was still able to get home thank god!...my poor jeep though...well here I am to tell the story!"</span></i></div>
<div>
<i><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"></span><br /></i></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Luckily this problem doesn't have to continue. its all about lifestyle changes and if you have been keeping up with the posts then you will know what I'm talking about!....for those of you who haven't take a quick skim through the 4 part series and you will know what we all mean!<i> "Its a supper easy simple thing and we are all able to do it and its free information so why not consume it ALL lol!"</i></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">like using the following safe, natural sleep aids and focusing on getting the sleep you need, in order to <b>stay refreshed alert and at your absolute most positive personal best!!</b></span></div>
<div>
<b><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"></span><br /></b></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><b>Natural sleep aids</b></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"></span><b></b><br /></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">we have actually covered some of them in the Natural Remedies post so I will try to avoid being repetitive! The ones that I have mentioned before I will just put the names of them with no explanation of them and a link over to amazon so you can get them at the best price I'm sure. That's where I bought all of my sleep aid stuff its so much cheaper than Walmart, target, drugstores and other department stores and you order gets right to your door!</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">In our bodies we have something called circadian rhythm. By being in sync with that rhythm, we can very easily improve our sleep! A regular sleep and wake pattern like we talked about before is so important because that's part of what helps your have the natural deep sleep and allows you to wake up feeling refreshed positive and motivated!!</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"></span><br /></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><b>Sleep hygiene </b>is so important laddies and so is avoiding stimulants like too much coffee before bed. Some of us and myself included could have a coffee before bed and possibly fall asleep but the thing is that when you do this you aren't sleeping deeply like you need to in order to feel positive and super awsome the following morning when you wake up! as you know from the other posts we all know that we need to get those electronics away from us when we are in bed "which means get them out of the bedroom if you can" doing this will play a factor in better sleep because of the blue light and also avoids nomophobia.</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"></span><br /></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><b>Thankfully, good sleep hygiene</b> combined with natural sleep aids that fit your body, lifestyle, belief and ones that you aren't allergic to if you have any allergies, can make all the difference in the world, and lets you take care of that body and mind craving sleep you need.</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"></span><br /></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">In the other post (natural remedies pt.4 of a 4 pt. series talks about calcium magnesium combo, valerian root, melatonin, lavender and lavender filled pillow.)</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"></span><br /></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">so I know I talked about food and not going to bed stuffed but read this and you will understand! Do you know that feeling you get when you eat a huge turkey dinner? or certain foods most commonly turkey though make you feel tired right!? well I'm not saying to sit down to a turkey dinner before bed lol<b><u> what I'm talking about is Tryptophan! </u></b>Yes that sleepiness you feel after that turkey dinner is no joke. Tryptophan is an amino acid that can help the brain get into a relaxed state, similar to serotonin and (melatonin) which is one we talked about!</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">You can actually get <a href="https://www.amazon.ca/gp/offer-listing/B008WG9EM4/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=15121&creative=330641&creativeASIN=B008WG9EM4&linkCode=am2&tag=sleepreview09-20&linkId=d7a57ee06f8b8e42fa0c49c006ffbb19" target="_blank">L-Tryptophan</a><img alt="" border="0" height="1" src="//ir-ca.amazon-adsystem.com/e/ir?t=sleepreview09-20&l=am2&o=15&a=B008WG9EM4" style="border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;" width="1" /> from carbs, particularly 100 percent whole grain oats, brown rice, or quinoa or the actual supplement and all of these sources are great for your body, so many upsides to natural remedies! <div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";">Hey everyone so while I was thinking about it I decided to put one more video out but a special one! this is a review on the ASMR system I use. I have 2 different ones that I love so much for so many different reasons!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEioqXkIMi8z7hjTlwk9fv6wmrSwlwUI4gFieyrcOPc59U-tM5v3-4b-9lakdFyjugLRB3cmiqZsN7SLWk3eac7QbbJ_jS2NzyPaljeC9Ic1qkV3Oc_0-PLLwnIYWJ-OayHOyNtn0n7ijuw/s1600/peace+and+quiet.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="635" data-original-width="960" height="263" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEioqXkIMi8z7hjTlwk9fv6wmrSwlwUI4gFieyrcOPc59U-tM5v3-4b-9lakdFyjugLRB3cmiqZsN7SLWk3eac7QbbJ_jS2NzyPaljeC9Ic1qkV3Oc_0-PLLwnIYWJ-OayHOyNtn0n7ijuw/s400/peace+and+quiet.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";">So the first review is going to be on the ASMR system that is actually like a nice light very soft cloth band that you wear and has speakers that play your favorite peaceful sounds or white noise! I love this one soo much it has to be the best for convenience because when your wearing it you don't have to worry about it falling off nor do you need to worry about getting up out of bed if you want to shut it off. you have the convenience of taking it absolutely everywhere with you and if your in a place sleeping where there are other people present or where there is no power you still have you ASMR with you for you quality sounds. I really like the sound of the water slowly moving and the calming breeze that blow so softly, it gets me every time.</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";">Another feature I like about this particular system is the fact that you can even use it when your at the gym and keep your mind in a calm state when your doing your stretches, it really creates a nice slow thoughtful, relaxed and methodical way to doing your stretches and even your yoga! This ASMR system actually blocks out noise and is compatible with practically any phone and is Bluetooth capable!! this is the <a href="https://www.amazon.ca/gp/offer-listing/B011L8UQDA/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=15121&creative=330641&creativeASIN=B011L8UQDA&linkCode=am2&tag=sleepreview09-20&linkId=0e4d68820990fe68a9e5acf5523eff40" target="_blank">ASMR insomnia releif</a><img alt="" border="0" height="1" src="//ir-ca.amazon-adsystem.com/e/ir?t=sleepreview09-20&l=am2&o=15&a=B011L8UQDA" style="border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;" width="1" /> saver.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "arial";">the new thin speakers also have great, sound which I was really surprised about when I used it, the low price actually made me reluctant to buy it but once I did and tried it out as soon as I got it I had one of those moments....you know the ones when your like yupp this was the right call...and when I have moments like I used to every day in the past I just put it on and fall into relaxation in my new sleep habitat!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"> This built around the 1 week challenge and learning to implement those strategies in your life along with this special set, you will sleep like the dead and that's no joke, the best part is, is that you can finally fall asleep relaxed and walk up refreshed feeling like a new person!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "arial";">if you think this is right for you too then go ahead, click that link and we can share our team experiences with this system and tell others about our success!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><br /></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"></span><br />Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01586622903663358537noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4356437689628263828.post-57964967162866168622018-02-10T18:42:00.003-08:002018-02-16T20:40:37.622-08:00Natural remedies to help me sleep-no sleep help (pt.4)<div>

<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b>So before you rush to the drug store to buy some over the counter synthetic sleep medication,</b> try one of the following natural sleep remedies. Many of these can not only help you fall asleep, but they can<b> also promote muscle relaxation for that sore back</b> when your in bed!! </div>
<div>
<b><i><br /></i></b></div>
<div>
<b><i>Sleep well and sleep much better! that's the goal right ?</i></b></div>
<div>

This amino acid comes <b>from green tea and not only helps maintain a calm alertness </b>during the day but also a deeper sleep at night. However green tea doesn't contain enough-Theanine to significantly boost your REM cycles. Besides you might then wake up and go to the bathroom instead of sleeping like you want to be and should be. Instead buy a brand called suntheanine, which is pure L-Theanine. (other brands have inactive forms of theanine that block effectiveness.) <b>Valerian is one of the most natural sleep remedies for insomnia.</b> Numerous studies have found that valerian improves deep sleep, speed of falling asleep, and overall quality of sleep. However its most effective when used over a longer period of time. One caveat? about 10% of people who use it actually feel energized, which may keep them awake. If that's happens to you.<b> take valerian during the day. Otherwise, take the recommended 200 to 400 milligrams before bed!</b></div>

<br />
<br />
<br />
Have you used a sleep aid before? have you ever had the experience of jet lag the next day or felt very groggy or cloudy! have you even thought you like how it may help you get to sleep but the morning sleep hangover is just to overwhelming?<br />
<br />
If you answered yes to all of these questions then you might want to look into an <a href="https://www.amazon.ca/gp/offer-listing/B00RJM6PC4/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=15121&creative=330641&creativeASIN=B00RJM6PC4&linkCode=am2&tag=bitcoin2002-20&linkId=e5e493e89f49f76c8782d9ec11cdfffa" target="_blank">All natural sleep aid</a> in particular the one the is linked to this page. Not only is it easy on the wallet but it reduces stress and anxiety associated with not being able to sleep and insomnia!<br />
<br />
I still have a bottle and use it here and there when needed but this stuff actually work! I fall asleep quick, I have a deep sleep and wake up time is actually natural feeling and no hindrance of a sleep hangover at all. No drowsiness in the morning at all!<br />
<br />
<br />
I remember the first time being skeptical because it was herbal but when I realised how much better it was for my body, my mind and soul I decided to give it a try and when I did I never looked back. Even if you still a bit skeptical after my personal review on this just read what others are saying about it! If you click the link and see what they are saying or want to try it I'm positive you will have the same effect as I do...The second night using this was a blessing I still remember that morning I woke up felt great and was positive and focused and felt very sharp!<br />
<br />
I think you guys and gals should give this stuff a shot it really helped me out and is 100% more safe versus the over advertised synthetic junk!!<br />
<br />
Good luck and hope these work we for you, I think these are something you need to give a chance and feel the difference like we did!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01586622903663358537noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4356437689628263828.post-31743610414748356192018-02-10T12:17:00.001-08:002018-02-16T20:40:37.564-08:00Why cant I sleep-Recap<h3>
Hello follow non sleepers</h3>
<b></b><b></b><b><br /></b>
<br />
So If you haven't had a look at the series that on Creative Sleep Tips <b>(pt.1) and (pt.2) </b>then you should definitely take a look so you can be up to speed on what we have covered so far and find some of the great tips that we have taken a look at.<br />
<br />
<br />
So just to recap and make sure we are all still on the same page I just wanted to take a look back and make sure we all know <b>what we have covered so far!</b><br />
<b><br /></b>
<i>These are all tips I have read in 3 special books and also learned from the many doctors I have seen and tests that I have gone through to finally get to where I' am now which is being able to sleep and I want to share all of this with everyone to avoid costly doctor visits and tests and to help someone who maybe cant afford to pay for all of these doctor visits because it is expensive however maybe your insurance covers it! so yay if it does!</i><br />
<i><br /></i>
<b>First before we get to much further into the recap</b> I just wanted to point something out we should all do and try...maybe you already do this so forgive me for being repetitive or saying something you know already...but what side of your body do you lay on? 1 quick fact for having a healthy sleep is to lay on your right side! yep you right side, the reason for this <b>is for 2 reasons,</b> 1 your liver is on your left side and your heart is on your right and believe it or not laying on your left side pushes on your hear and laying on your right side keeps everything in mind so maybe when your sleeping and you hear that..<i>.pump pump...pump pump...pump pump...pump pump.</i>..its because of the compression on your heart from laying the wrong way...Just a quick tip I wanted to point out!<br />
<br />
<br />
<h3>
So now for the recap, lets dive into it</h3>
<br />
1. We talked about doing a little bit of extra exercises and it doesn't mean running a marathon it just simply means to do a little walk around the block, or walk a bit further with the dog, or go for a walk when you check the mail. Simple right! this actually helps<br />
<br />
2. we talked about limiting stimulants and smoking (which is a stimulant) and energy drinks-basically anything with caffeine before bed and not having it after dinner, try to watch this one.<br />
<br />
3. we talked about keeping your alarm clock out of your sight and not looking at it when your in bed, laying there worrying thinking....oh my god its 1 am, I have to be up in 6 hours, is not a good thing and actually keeps you awake because the anxiety it creates, it revs up your brain.<br />
<br />
4. Don't check your email or phone in bed- it gets your thinking about things like world news which can create stress, work which can create stress, and too much about what's going on around you instead of allowing you to sleep.<br />
<br />
5. We talked about that all important one week challenge, if you haven't all ready about it check part 2 of the creative sleeping tips...I challenge you not to a duel but to take the one week challenge and see how that works!<br />
<br />
6. do not bring electronics into the bedroom and if you have to bring your cell phone with you turn it over. all electronic emit what's called a blue light which actually engages the brain and keeps your awake because the brain once again revs up which revs us up!<br />
<br />
7. Light exposure! Black out shades do a great job of this and posted about them in part 1 but you still need to limit light, just like turning your phone over its important to limit the light and basically think of it like your wanting it to be like Dracula's room...DARK!!<br />
<br />
8. I know some of us like to be warm when we are in bed and we should be to a point. You should know this...your body doesn't start to go into a nice deep sleep mode until it has cooled its core temperature by 1-3 degrees! No you don't need the a/c on in the winter but opening the window a jar can work wonders...its creates that cozy feeling you get under the blankets which means your mind is starting to rest, which means your in sleep mode...yep its true!<br />
<br />
9. if your a smoker like I' am unfortunately, you should have 'the last smoke of the night' no later than 1 hour before bed...smoking is a stimulant...as much as you think it relaxes you it is another rever upper.<br />
<br />
10. reverse psychology....it works on the kids and dogs and cats and everyone else in between so when your laying in bed...focused on trying to sleep....do the opposite! focus on trying to stay awake and avoid counting sheep...it just keeps you thinking and again revs the mind up<br />
<br />
11. don't allow your mind to rev up and try to relax, develop a routine. Make yourself go to bed at a certain time and get up at a certain time every morning and do this for 6 days per week every week. this helps build a routine and sets your body clock so eventually going to sleep will be easy and waking up even easier!!<br />
<br />
<i>I just want to end this saying I will have part 3 of the 4 part series up today...My goes is to get this series out to you and everyone else, all of use who are experiencing the same issues and sharing what has worked for me is something I'm very fond of doing because I lived with it for 3 and a half years!!</i><br />
<i>I'm excited to help you all through this and working together because like I said this is a team thing and we will get this working and get your sleeping! I' am also going to make a post on a sleep aid but a natural sleep aid. Sleep aids prescribed by doctors are hard on the body, have major and many side effects and also can do the opposite of what we are trying to do which is easily fall asleep and wake up easier...doctor prescribed sleep aids make it very very hard to wake up! I'm sure your all know that so we will cover that in another topic!</i><br />
<div>
<i><br /></i></div>
<div>
to Sum up I appreciate any feed back that you may offer to me along the way and I'm looking forward to the end result and check back for a lot more information and reviews on some great products that work and some you should run away from!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Stay tuned for more information and Part 3!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Until then my freaky non sleepers! take care!</div>

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Insomnia and what causes insomnia</span></h3>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><b><br /></b></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><b>Insomnia </b>can be cause by psychiatric and medical conditions, <b>unhealthy sleeping habits</b> like we talked about in sleep help parts 1 and 2,<b> specific substances,</b> and or certain biological factors. Recently researchers of the sleep foundation have seriously begun to think about insomnia as a problem of our brains not being able to turn off (<i>hamster wheel syndrome)</i></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><b></b><b></b><b><i><br /></i></b></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><b>Believe it or not</b> our brains have 2 cycles, a sleep cycle and a wake (work or on cycle) and when one is turned on the other turns off!-insomnia can be a problem with either part of this cycle: too much wake drive or too little sleep drive. <b>its important to understand first</b> what could be causing your sleep difficulties!</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><i><br /></i></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><i>Like we said its a team effort and we will figure it out!</i></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><i><br /></i></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><b>Some Medical Causes of Insomnia</b></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><b><br /></b></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";">There are many medical conditions that can lead to insomnia...if your wondering how I learned all of this its because of all the books I read when I wasn't able to sleep, plus sleeping tests and doctors saying this that and the other thing!) In some cases insomnia can be the condition on its own while in other cases a particular set of symptoms cause it like, Discomfort ( <i>Back pain or lower back pain is one of my problems that contributed to it </i>) and these things can make it difficult for us to sleep!</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><b><br /></b></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><b>Examples of medical conditions that can lead to no sleep (insomnia) are:</b></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><b><br /></b></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";">- Nasal/Sinus allergies</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";">- Gastrointestinal problems such as reflux</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";">- Endocrine problems such as hypothyroidism</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";">- Arthritis</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";">- Asthma</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";">- Neurological conditions such as Parkinson's</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";">- Chronic pain</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";">- Low back pain</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><b>Medications </b>such as those that you would take for a cold and nasal allergies, high blood pressure, heart disease, thyroid disease, birth control, asthma, and depression can also cause <b>insomnia</b>...wouldn't it be nice to have a too much <b>sleep</b> problem at this point instead of a no sleep problem.</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";">In addition to all of this, <b>Insomnia</b> May be a symptom of underlying <b>sleep disorders</b>. for example, restless leg syndrome (definitely me) a neurological condition which a person has an uncomfortable sensation of needing to move his or her legs-can lead to insomnia. People with <b>restless leg syndrome </b>typically experience worse symptoms in the later part of the day, during periods of inactivity, and in transition from wake to sleep, which means that falling asleep and staying asleep can be difficult...person who sits but their leg is always bumping up and down...you know what I mean I'm sure...I believe the estimate was 10% or just over has restless leg syndrome! That's ALOT of people!</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><b>Sleep apnea is another sleep disorder linked to insomnia.</b> With sleep apnea a person airway becomes partially or completely blocked during sleeping leading to pauses in breathing and a <b>drop in oxygen level</b>. this causes a person to wake up briefly but repeatedly through <b>out the night and usually use a machine to help</b> them breath when they're sleeping. My step dad actually has this problem but stupidly doesn't use the machine!</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><b>Insomnia </b>can also be cause by depression and the risk of severe insomnia is much much higherin patients with major depressive orders, Studies actualy show that insomnia can also trigger or worsen it and perhaps if you have or feel you have symptoms of depression consult your doctor :)</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";">It's important to know that symptoms of depression (such as low energy levels, loss of interest or motivation, feelings of sadness or hopelessness) and insomnia can be linked.<b> If you feel any of those issues you should chat with your Doc and see what he or she thinks :)</b></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><b><br /></b></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><b>Insomnia and Anxiety</b></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><b><br /></b></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";">Most adults had some trouble sleeping because they feel worried or nervous, but for some its a pattern, that interferes with sleep on a regular basis. Anxiety symptoms can lead to <b>insomnia</b> are:</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";">- Tension</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";">- Getting caught up in thoughts about past events</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";">- Excessive worrying<b></b><b></b></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";">- Feeling overwhelmed by responsibilities</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";">- A general feeling of<b> being revved up or over stimulated</b></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><b><br /></b></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";">When this <b>happens for many nights</b> (or months), you might start to feel <b>anxiousness</b>, dread, panic at just the prospect of not sleeping. this is how insomnia can feed each other and<b> become a cycle that should be interrupted and in some cases may require treatment if you cant develop the cognitive and mind-body techniques that help people with insomnia </b>or anxiety settle for sleep, and healthy sleep practices that can improve sleep for many people with anxiety and <b>insomnia</b>.</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><i>If at any point you felt you should consult a doctor in the post, you should definitely try that option if you haven't. If you feel some of the signs for depression don't be ashamed and go chat with the doctor, lots more people then you think suffer from it and its not life threating or the end of the world so go knock it out of the park and get it cured.</i></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><i><br /></i></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";">If its anxiety, back pain, or your mind not disengaging or your just wanting some useful tips on sleep or snoring we will help you with those things indeed for sure!</span></div>

Hello again everyone!</h2>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">If you have read<b> part 1</b> that's great...really I mean it...its best to absorb all of the parts to this segment so your armed with tips and tricks that helped me when I had issues with insomnia...and to recap a little about me yes..yes I did do the testing where you sleep in the hospital with machines hooked up to you to<b> monitor your sleep pattern.</b></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<b><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></b></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Lets get into it!!</span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">However without further adew here are more tips to practice, <b>along with a 1 week challenge!!</b></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<b><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></b></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<b><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></b></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><b><u>Questions to ask yourself-</u></b><i> do I smoke? Do I drink tea, coffee or any other stimulate in the P.M?</i> If you answered yes to 1 or all of those you should think of what time you do "these things at" and when you go to bed? <b>Now after reading part 1 did you start a routine for what time you go to bed and wake up?</b> If so you should practice no caffeine after supper and no smoking an hour before bed...i know it's hard I smoke to but it helps, trust me.</span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Because these are all stimulate we, as hard as it is need to limit our intake and try to build that "last smoke of the night" to an hour before bed no later!!!</span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<b><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">AVOID AFTERNOON NAPS AT ALL COSTS!</span></b></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<b><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></b></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><b><u>Are you someone who likes to be warm at night?</u></b> In part one we covered being cool at night...seems to be common people like the window open a crack or a fan On? If you do like being warm a test that was conducted by scientists was to sleep with your socks when you go to sleep...to me this is just strange lol..<b>.however alot of good comes with it!!</b> Believe it or not warm feet makes your body feel warm..if your feet are cold think...your body feels cold right?...so it's the same thing but the opposite of cold and it improves circulation when your at rest!! Yep...strange huh?</span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><b><u>Do you exercise?</u></b> If you do great if you don't, that's ok just try to go for small walks after dinner or when you check the mail or walk the dog a bit further...you don't need to run a marathon either...trust me...i didn't nor would I want to!...<b>but the extra excersize is great for circulation which ACTUALLY helps you when your at rest</b>. The extra work also helps you feel a bit more tired at days end..yep it does...</span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><b><u>When your in bed and can't fall asleep what are you trying to Do? </u></b>Weird question? Well think of it like this...if you answered...well I'm trying to sleep...or...trying so hard to fall asleep because I can't...STOP!..your actually doing the wrong thing and you need to do the opposite, I'm sure you've heard of reverse psychology? It works on people, kids, pets, so why can't it work on us. Tell your self and try to make yourself stay awake and you can really surprise yourself and find yourself looking at the inside of your eyelids...true story...makes sense doesn't it? </span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">I know I said<b> in part 1 that you should do this but I can stress enough</b> the eating and smoking! Nicotine is a stimulate and going to bed right after one is not good no matter how much you enjoy it limit it to 1 hour before you go to bed, no later. As for eating try not to go to bed hungry or overly stuffed because your mind will be focusing on that! </span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<b><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">So remember how I said 1 week challenge?</span></b></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<b><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></b></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><b><u>The one week challenge is to do the excersize and build your routine</u></b>...what we mean about routine is to have a set time 6 days a week that you go to bed and a set time for when you wake up, limit your "last smoke of the night" to no more than one hour before sleep, and when your struggling to sleep and trying to force yourself to sleep do the opposite, try and force yourself to stay awake and watch your eyes close!!</span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><b><i>You deserve that great refreshed sleep feeling in the morning and together we will figure this out.</i></b> <b>We are a team and will work together </b>to get it sorted out.</span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<i><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></i></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<i><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">When you try the one week challenge place a comment in the comment section let us know when you start and finish and how it worked out for you!</span></i></div>
<div dir="ltr">

<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><b><u>To recap, </u></b>we talked about no smoking right before to bed, give yourself 1 hour. We talked about just a bit more excersize whether it's a walk around the block, longer walk with the dog or a little bit further when you grab the mail or after dinner!! We also talked about the reverse psychology when trying to sleep do the opposite and try to stay awake!!</span></div>

No Sleep-Sleep help and sleep creativity (pt.1)</h2>
<div>
<b><u><br /></u></b></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
51 sheep, 52 sheep, 53 sheep, 54 sheep ugh, why am I still awake...oh well its only, 3AM!!</div>
<div>
we'<i>ve been there before, everyone reading this has been!</i></div>
<div>
<i><br /></i></div>
<div>
Sleep is so important, one of the most important things we do and it is easier said than done for some of us, and we will show you how sleep is tied to our physical and mental health! Not getting enough sleep can also lead to high blood pressure, heart attacks and aneurisms!</div>
<div>
<i><br /></i></div>
<div>
<i><br /></i></div>
<div>
So today I am going to share with you 5 steps to developing a better sleeping ritual for the well rested goodnight sleep we need!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
We all know that we feel groggy and slow when we don't get enough sleep, and that is not the only thing that bad sleep has an effect on our bodies, so I will show you 5 Steps that you can start practicing to get that great feeling up lifting sleep.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
some nights we all stay awake worrying about that presentation we have to give in the morning, or we think about job interview or bills, and then some nights you just cant get comfortable, and the other nights you seem to fall asleep just fine, but then you wake up every 15 fifteen minutes worrying about if your going to catch the train on time or make it to the highway before rush hour or make it to the bus.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
All right so there is no one real easy answer to getting a great nights sleep, for some of us this 5 step process for sleep creativity will help, or for some of us other things will work which I will show you! Don't worry and RELAX, we will get through this the first thing to do is continue reading because your in the right place and I want to share my experience of years of sleeplessness to getting to where I am now, I feel like a guy who has never had a sleep problem ever and I don't snore any more.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So lets figure out this process for GREAT sleep and great sleep creativity!</div>
<div>
<u><b><br /></b></u></div>
<div>
<b><u>Step 1. Develop a relaxing bedtime ritual-</u></b> When you think about it we all learn to sleep by routine! As kids when we were little our parents would help tuck us in, get us that extra glass of water all in the name of good sleep, now that your older your going to have to develop that strategy on your own. Whether its a glass of water or a decaffe coffee 15 minutes before bed or reading a book, of course there are some things that should be kept out of a bed time ritual. don't drink alcohol before bed! It might help you fall to sleep but chances are you will wake up in the middle of the night...Don't exercise any more than 1 hour before bed...sure it will get your blood flowing, but it will amp you up mentally.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b><u>Step 2. Maintaining a regular sleep and wake up schedule-</u></b> now you don't have to wake up at exactly 7:02 and go to bed at exactly 10:53 because that's a bit on the neurotic side...but...do try to wake up and go to bed at the same time 6 days a week. According to the university doctors at Harvard university this will help set your internal clock so that even on those rare days when your schedule is throw off you can help avoid what doctors call....A sleep hang over.</div>
<div>
<b><u><br /></u></b></div>
<div>
<b><u>Step 3. Stop watching your clock- </u></b>studies show that people who constantly look at their clock in bed are less likely to fall asleep easily...why?...because laying there think oh my god its 11:03 and I have to be up in 6 hours and 57 minutes...stresses you out!!...try to keep some distance from you and that alarm clock that why those blinking numbers will stop talking to you!</div>
<div>
<b><u><br /></u></b></div>
<div>
<b><u>step 4. create an optimal sleep environment- </u></b>a male clinic has shown studies that people sleep better in dark, quiet cool environments. with all the benefits of sleep its worth investing in blackout blinds, comfortable ear plugs and a fan or air-conditioning. the more comfortable you are...the better you will sleep.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b><u>Step 5. Unplug-</u></b> make your bedroom a tech free zone. I know but...research show that electronics interfere with sleep, because its easy to get distracted by them!..checking your email right before bed could ad more stress and watching t.v or movies make it harder to sleep and getting sucked into Facebook or Pinterest could keep you up for hours.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So lets recap. We've told you the negative effect of no sleep or not getting enough sleep...right?...we told you that we could give you 5 steps to better sleep creativity right? we told you that coming up with a sleep ritual and having a routine would be wise too! Also stop watching your clock when your in bed its something that always got to me! Creating an optimal sleep environment and something that started to really help me was the black out curtains with a fan and the cover to go over your eyes. Unplugging is huge! I always checked my email before bed because I'm constantly on it for work and Facebook was just...well Facebook who doesn't like snooping around! Maybe that's why snoop dog is called snoop dog?</div>

First Post...<br />
<br />
So since your here I take it your not getting any sleep! well Neither was I about 3 years ago and its funny to think about how many different factors play into not getting any sleep! Doctors will always try to say its one thing when its something totally different, I think a lot of doctors only want to try and push pills on this problem and that isn't always the right solution and in this blog I'm going to cover many different things I went through when I wasn't sleeping and how I eventually overcame it!<br />
<br />
<br />
It didn't happen over night unfortunately but it almost seems like it was an overnight things when I couldn't sleep at night, sometimes I would pass out in the afternoon on days I wasn't working and that was the end of me...that small nap would make the no sleep situation even worse.<br />
<br />
Yes I know you shouldn't nap and its not like I was trying to but sometimes the need for one does over come us once in a while.<br />
<br />
Another thing is snoring! yes snoring! How many people keep their spouses up from tossing and turning from not being able to sleep and then added to that when and if you do fall asleep you keep your spouse up more from snoring so loudly that they end up not sleeping!<br />
<br />
Not sure who experiences the same problem as this but if you do I would love to here about it in the comment section because I'm sure a lot of us will relate and we can all share tips!<br />
<br />
3 and half almost 4 years later now that I have overcome the sleep thing I will share with you what helped me out through out the years and what didn't help. Try to resist the urge to get those expensive prescriptions from the doctor and seek an alternative because the sleeping meds that they prescribe you are twice as strong as anything else from what I have felt and on top of that I would wake up feeling foggy and not my normal sharp, ready to go self. The point I'm trying to make is now I don't take any sleeping medication and Ill share with you how I finally over came the need for what doctors told me and how I got to where I am now and what worked and what didn't!<br />
<br />
Good luck out there you freaky no sleep people and stay tunned for tips and advice on the no sleep thing. We will get to the bottom of this before long! I'm sure with every bone in my body that it wont take as long as it took me now that I know what works!!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01586622903663358537noreply@blogger.com0
